Schools and Education in Puriscal, Costa Rica.

The local community school, called Santisima Tranidad, accepts children ages 6 to 12.  Students are taught all major subjects, in addition to the languages of English and Portuguese. The institution works with classes of no more than 11 children to guarantee personalized education.  With almost 20 years of service, this school enjoys a good reputation with the inhabitants of Puriscal.

As for high school education, The Colegio Tecnico Profesional de Puriscal has been serving the community since 1969.  Students from 7th to 12th grade are offered basic courses and additional courses such as Computer Networking, Finance and Banking, and Accounting.

The other major school in the area is El Liceo Academico de Puriscal, a public institution that opened its doors in 1956. Although El Liceo Academico de Puriscal does not offer a complete, bilingual system, most of the local families attend this school.
