Lakeside Elementary School is located approximately 20 kilometers from Liberia. It is a private school that offers bilingual education in both English and Spanish. A multi-disciplinary approach focuses on building students’ confidence and awareness, and helping them recognize and reach their greatest potential. Other highly regarded schools in Guanacaste include Country Day School, near Playa Tamarindo, and La Paz Community School in Playa Flamingo. Both schools serve the international community, yet have unique teaching principles that distinguish one from the other.
