Schools and Education

The nearby Tamarindo area has two noteworthy schools that families with young children will want to learn more about. The Country Day School is an English-language private school that places emphasis on serving the international community. It offers classes for students of all ages and focuses heavily on preparing students for college placement post-graduation.

The La Paz Community School follows the International Baccalaureate educational approach and teaches its students about environmental and social responsibility in addition to the standard core curriculum. Classes are taught in both English and Spanish by native speakers. A growing number of families have praised the school for its innovative programs, and the school has seen tremendous growth in recent years.
