Florencia offers a variety of schools for families to consider, including: The Escuela Carlos Maroto Quiros, a private school catering to children ages 6 to 12.

The Colegio Cientifico de Costa Rica is a high school and has a location in Florencia as well as in other parts of the country. The Florencia location boasts many computers and laptops, and the school is well known for putting on an elaborate festival of arts annually. The Colegio Cientifico de Costa Rica accepts children ages 12 to 18.

The Escuela Caimitos is a public school that accepts children from 6 to 12.

Escuela Cedral is a public school that accepts children from 6 to 12. The Escuela Cedral has beautiful murals painted on the walls, nice gardens, and often hosts presentations for parents and special events.
