Climate and Location: Goicoechea San Jose, Costa Rica.
Goicoechea enjoys a peculiar geography, and the towns that make up this region have different elevations due to the mountains located therein. Rancho Redondo has the highest elevation, located at 2,048 meters above sea level, followed by Calle Blancos, Mata de Plátano, Ipís, Guadalupe, and then San Francisco, located at 1,172 meters above sea level. This difference in altitudes causes minor differences in weather, but the climate of Goicoechea generally shares a weather similar to other cantons in the Central Valley with, with an average temperature of 71.6 degrees Fahrenheit.
