Schools and Education: Goicoechea San Jose, Costa Rica.

There are several public education institutions in Goicoechea, including Colegio Napoleon Quesada and Colegio Madre del Divino Pastor, both of which provide the quality education that Costa Rica public schools are known for. Centro de Educacion Integral San Jorge is a private institution offering a bilingual education, established in 1983, Centro de Educacion Integral San Jorge (or “CEI”) offers small classes and personalized attention to its students. CEI accepts children from 7th grade to 11th grade.

Another private school in Goicoechea is Sain Vincent School.  Sain Vincent School offers classes from kindergarten to high school, has been in operation for more than 15 years, and has become a highly respected private school in the area by offering a high level of English instruction and also swimming lessons (which are rather rare in Costa Rica).

ULACIT (Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología) opened its doors in 1987 and has become one of the most popular private universities with a wide selection of majors including odontology, law, psychology, and computer engineering.
