Part of Reserva Conchal’s appeal is that, unlike more isolated resorts, it sits minutes from real towns with everyday services, dining, and medical care. Here’s a quick orientation for residents and visitors.
Location & access
Reserva Conchal is on Playa Conchal in Cabo Velas, about five minutes from Brasilito, ten from Huacas, fifteen from Playa Flamingo and its new full-service marina, and thirty from Tamarindo. Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR) in Liberia is roughly 45–50 minutes away on a paved route. Within a half-hour radius you’ll find the airport, the marina, private medical clinics, and adventures by land and sea.
Dining
Inside the gates, the Beach Club and the Westin and W hotels offer more than a dozen restaurants and bars. Just outside, Brasilito, Flamingo, Huacas, and Tamarindo add everything from beachfront seafood and Argentinian grills to sushi, Italian, Indian, bakeries, and casual sodas — many within ten to fifteen minutes.
Groceries & everyday services
Reserva Conchal has an onsite convenience grocery, and full supermarkets, banks, ATMs, pharmacies, and hardware and home-goods stores are clustered nearby in Huacas, Brasilito, and Flamingo. Larger shopping and big-box stores are in Liberia, alongside the international airport.
Medical care
For day-to-day and urgent care, Hospital Metropolitano in Huacas and the Beachside Clinic are open 24 hours, with Flamingo Urgent Care and pharmacies close by. For specialized and emergency care, private hospitals are in Liberia (about 45–50 minutes), and a helipad is available within the community.
