Location and Climate

Playa Hermosa is located less than 5 miles south of Jaco, the Central Pacific Coast's largest beach town. It is positioned right along the coastal highway, the Costanera Sur, which means travel either north or south is simple. The driving time to Costa Rica's capital, San Jose, and the Juan Santamaria International Airport is less than two hours. To get there, simply hop on the Costanera Sur, drive north about 40 minutes, and exit onto the modern Highway 27, which takes you directly into the heart of the country.
