Climate and Location

This hillside city is easily accessible as it is just off the main road from San Jose to Arenal. Just 48 miles to SJO Airport and 39 miles to the national airport in Arenal, Quesada is perfectly situated for easy international and national travel. The small city is the most important business center and transportation crossroads in the region.

In addition to its convenient and ideal commercial location, Quesada is also blessed with clean, fresh air and water sources. It’s near the Juan Castro Blanco National Park, an attraction for a variety of national and international tourists.

The climate is favorable, with temperatures from 64 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit.  Quesada has a predictable green season, which goes from May through November, and in which sunny mornings are still enjoyed by all.
