Schools and Education in Dominical, Costa Rica.
While Dominical does not have international schools for children, Uvita is located just a few miles away and has the expat owned international school Escuela Verde. The school was created by parents who aim to create a strong community environment in which to raise their children. Children are encouraged to understand their role in the classroom and in the community, and parents are involved in the education process. Environmental conservation is a big focus of the school with many fieldtrips exploring the diverse marine life and ecosystems. Dominical itself has various Spanish schools for learners of all ages; some Spanish schools even offer courses for families.
