Location and Climate in Playa Garza and Barco Quebrado

Playa Garza and Playa Barco Quebrado are located two hours from the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia (LIR). These two tropical villages are conveniently located between the hugely popular beach towns of Nosara and Samara, making it an ideal location for those wanting to invest in less expensive land than that of Nosara and Samara, but still want to be in the general vicinity. Nearby there are horse stables, jungle, and multiple fishing villages, and Plaza Garza and Playa Barco Quebrado are in the middle of the surfer’s paradise.

Playa Garza and Playa Barco Quebrado enjoy warm weather year round, between 75 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit, but the constant winds tend to offset the temperature, making it seem cooler than the thermometer suggests. Those same winds also offer consistent surf conditions all day long. The high season lasts from November to April and features consistent sunshine and starry nights. The green season last from May until September and features plenty of sunny mornings with afternoon rain showers. The jungle during this time is green, lush, and teeming with wildlife. October is typically the rainiest month and many businesses in the area close during this time.
