Community and Lifestyle
Many major colleges and universities of the Central Valley call San Pedro their home. It’s common to see students, professors and professionals heading to and from work or school each day as you make your way around the city. Here, you’ll find people from a variety of countries and parts of Costa Rica, especially near the University of Costa Rica’s campus.
San Pedro is loaded with things to do for just about everyone. There are your typical bars and local fast-food joints you associate with a college town. But there are also gourmet eateries, gastro pubs and boutiques that line the streets of San Pedro, particularly in the popular neighborhood of Los Yoses.
