Schools and Education: Tilarán and Tronadora, Costa Rica.
There are two public schools in the area for children ages 6 to 12: the Jose Maria Calderon Mayorga School and the Escuela El Carmen. The Escuela El Jardin de Niños is one of the only private elementary schools in the area, and accepts children ages 6 to 12.
The high schools in the area cater to students ages 12-18, and there are two private options. The San Daniel Comboni Private School is a Catholic school that is known for its abundant technological and athletic resources. The Colegio Tecnico Profesional Tronadora offers a private education focused on critical thinking capabilities that prepares students for university.
