Climate and Location
Montezuma is located on the Nicoya Peninsula on Costa Rica’s Northern Pacific Coast. Montezuma spans several miles of beach, which range from white sand with dramatic rocks to expansive black sand shores. The town remains small with just a few dirt roads, but is five miles from Cóbano, which has banks, grocery stores, and other modern conveniences.
Climate
The North Pacific Coast in Costa Rica, where Montezuma lies, has some of the driest weather in the country. Daytime highs average between the high 80s and low 90s with evening lows in the upper 70s. The air is dry and humidity is low during the region’s dry season, which is from November until April. The rainy season begins in April and ends in November, however September and October remain the only particularly rainy months.
